Authorities were reportedly called to the home of Britney Spears 14 times over the past two years, raising fresh concerns about the singer’s wellbeing following her recent DUI arrest in California.
The 44-year-old singer was arrested in Ventura County on suspicion of driving under the influence earlier this week.
She was later released after being cited and is expected to appear in court in May.
According to Daily Mail, emergency calls linked to Spears’ Los Angeles residence date back to early 2024 and include incidents such as welfare checks, alarm activations and trespassing reports.
Moreover, some calls were listed as suspicious activity or disturbances, while others were reportedly cancelled before officers arrived.
The series of police visits has drawn renewed attention following the singer’s latest legal trouble.
As per the outlet, officials said Spears was stopped after allegedly driving erratically and showing signs of impairment, leading to her arrest on suspicion of DUI.
She was released the following morning after processing.
A representative for the pop star described the incident as “completely inexcusable” and said Spears plans to comply with the law and take steps toward positive change.
Furthermore, the statement added that her loved ones are working to create a plan to support her wellbeing during this period.
Spears’ family, including her two sons whom she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline, are expected to spend time with her as she goes through the aftermath of the arrest and focuses on recovery, as per the publication.
