Benny Blanco confirms wedding officiant for Santa Barbara nuptials

Benny Blanco has candidly revealed who played the role of wedding officiant during his extremely secretive marriage to Selena Gomez.

The 37-year-old recently named his best friend who shockingly participated in the wedding.

The pair got married on September 27, 2025, in Santa Barbara, California.

The American record producer appeared on Jimmy Kimmel live! on February 26, alongside partner Lil Dicky or David Burd to promote their new podcast, Friends Keep Secrets.

Although the couple kept majority of their nuptial's information private, he shared that American rapper and singer presided over the event.

Burd went on to describe their close bond, saying, "We were heavily involved [in each other's weddings]. We didn't each have a best man."

Continuing, "but I officiated his and he gave the speech from like my male point of view at my wedding, and it was great."

“It was incredible. Unbelievable,” Blanco marked.

Moreover, Blanco recounted the 33-year-old Who Says crooner to summoned him up on the phone, and asked him to keep it to himself.

He recalled, "She said, ‘Hey, just make sure Dave doesn’t say anything about this part or this part because it’s part of my speech.'" 

“I wanted to push back, but it was her wedding,” Burd joked.

Earlier, one of the sources indicated that the reception went off quite well with everyone loving the newlyweds.

Notably, the insider added indicating that the new couple were glowing all night and could not stop smiling.
