Katie Leung is reprising her role as Lady Araminta Gun in Bridgerton, but the iconic actress who played Cho Chung in the beloved Harry Potter series is also dishing some advice for whoever takes up the role next.
The Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire actress opened up about the upcoming HBO Harry Potter series, which employs fresh faces to play the celebrated characters.
In an interview with People, the Scottish actress was asked for advice for the next Cho, to which she said, “Oh goodness. I think it is hard to say, because when you're that age, you're kind of trying to figure things out and who you are."
The 38-year-old went on to say that she didn’t know who she fully at the time but maybe things have changed now since younger generations are more clued-up due to digital advancements.
"Generally, for anybody really, whoever stage in their life, [my advice is] just to be themselves, because that's what makes them unique, and to not let the kind of noise of other people get to you, because what you have already is a gift, and you should really just try and hold onto that," Katie added.
Notably, the Strangers actress has been vocal about the effects of public scrutiny at a young age after she appeared in the films and how it made her more aware of how she managed herself.
