‘Devil Wears Prada 2’ star Simone Ashley reveals how she is changing history

Simone Ashley, who first rose to fame after she starred in the famous series, Anne Hathaway drops big reveal about Emily Blunt in ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’season 2, recently revealed what major steps she is taking to change history.

In a candid conversation, the Indian actress revealed she is proud of her particular move.

She revealed that she is changing the path for Asian girls like her in Hollywood and understands the responsibility that comes with it.

The 31-year-old stated, “I think it goes beyond the entertainment industry. I want women to know, even if I’m the face of L’Oreal Paris globally,”

She stated, “that speaks to women in a different way, all these different things. But that’s my position.”

Elsewhere, her co-star, Jonathan Bailey, also gushed about her coming from a different background as he stated, “I think the change really comes as a ripple effect behind the scenes. So it’s representation in the writers rooms, in producing partners, in directors, the whole thing.”

He added, “Once you have the material that requires actors of diverse communities, I think that’s the source. And that’s what the world’s hungry for.”

It is to be noted that the duo starred in season two of the famous show, which aired in 2022.
