Rupert Grint shared his thoughts on the new Harry Potter and its cast.
Grint starred as Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter films along with Daniel Radcliff as the titular character and Emma Watson as Hermione Granger.
Reflecting on learning about the new auditions, the Knock at the Cabin star said it took all the back to the 90s during the days of his own auditions.
"Because it was such an exciting time. I do wish them all the best — it's such a fun journey," he said. "But it's quite strange and surreal. But it really didn't feel that long ago that we wrapped."
He went on give an advice to the new golden trio, Dominic McLaughlin (Harry), Arabella Stanton (Hermione) and Alastair Stout (Ron), acknowledging that he "didn't have social media" to deal with, so it'll likely be a very different experience.
Looking back, he opened up about the challenges of being a child star, father of one said, "It's a sacrifice, especially when you're young."
However, he continued saying, "But I have no regrets. It was a great time and I think they'll have lots of good people around looking after them."
Harry Potter new TV series will have in total eight seasons, each book per season.
The show is set to be released somewhere in 2027.
