Bella Poarch has a heartbreaking reason for all her tattoos.
While fans have often praised her tattoos in many instances, Bella’s signature ink on the skin has also been subject to a few controversies. In September, TikTok’s favorite lip-sync artist apologized for getting a tattoo of the Japanese rising sun flag. The sign was apparently offensive to a lot of Koreans who had to live through many cases of abuse during the Japanese imperialism.
In a recent post on Wednesday, a fan asked Bella about the history behind her plethora of tattoos: "Why do you have so many tattoos? They don’t fit you."
She responded with a video showing her arm sleeve, rabbit ink, and wings on her back.
"I had a rough childhood. My scars from abuse made me insecure. And so I had to cover up my scars with tattoos."
Fans immediately sympathized with the starlet and praised her for being so open with them about such an emotional subject.
Bella later added in the comment section, "I wasn’t comfortable posting this. But if you’re having a hard time right now, just know that you are not alone and you'll make it through this."
