Why Melania Trump documentary face withdrawal from theatres?

Melania Trump, the wife of President Donald Trump, seemingly faced a major setback after her documentary was withdrawn from theatres internationally.

Although the conditions unravelling within the United States are resulting in backlash on her, the 55-year-old’s movie is not being premiered in South Africa

It was revealed by the distributor that the official theatrical release of the project has been “cancelled” citing “recent developments” as the main reason for the move.

The project will not come out in the place which was otherwise slated for release on Friday in accordance with the decision “to not go ahead” with the launch “in territory.”

However, Mr. Govindarajulu did not clarify what those recent developments are. 

However, he insisted that it was “our decision” and they are not being pressured by someone else.

The film, directed by Brett Ratner, stirred a buzz online while President Donald Trump called it a “must watch” for everyone, urging people to buy tickets fast.

Recently, the couple hosted a private premiering event for the executives from around the world, who gathered in the White House to celebrate the project.
