Dax Shepherd discusses Cher saying wife Kristen deserves better

Dax Shepard is dishing his opinion on the iconic singer, Cher, telling his wife Kristen Bell that she deserves better.

The Hit and Run actor saw the Moonstruck actress bluntly tell the Frozen voice actress that she could’ve done better as he seemed intrigued.

In a recent interview with Access Hollywood at the Golden Globes 2026, the comedian was asked about that specific episode of his Armchair Podcast.

Dax said to the outlet, "I think we both expected that, that's why you love Cher, which couldn't be greater,” later adding that he thought it was hysterical while his co-host Monica Padman referenced how the episode made headlines.

Meanwhile during the episode, the father-of-two had asked the Little Man singer who she thinks would be a better partner for Kristen.

Cher had then replied that she trusted the Nobody Wants This star, to which Dax reassured her by noting some of his good traits.

The podcaster revealed that he doesn’t feel threatened by his wife’s success, which the "Goddess of Pop" said was a quality he shared with her boyfriend Alexander “AE” Edwards.
