Timothée Chalamet has named the British stars he believes deserves the Marty Supreme jacket, and one of them was Susan Boyle.
The Beautiful Boy actor’s list began with seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton, David and Victoria Beckham, rapper Fakemink and then the 64-year-old.
During the interview conducted by BBC's Colin Paterson, in which the actor was promoting his upcoming sports comedy Marty Supreme, the 29-year-old thought for a minute before mentioning the Scottish singer.
As soon as he named her, the interviewer laughed and asked why, to which Timothée said that Susan dreamed bigger than all of us and that her performance of "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Misérables was incredibly moving.
The praise has reached the Memory singer, who took to her social media to thank the Dune star for his words.
“This has been so incredibly touching to read. I’m very flattered,” the viral audition singer wrote on her Instagram, tagging the Screen Actors Guild award winner.
“I wish you every success as you continue to dream your own dream. Thank you for your kindness and for remembering that moment so fondly,” Susan added for Timothée.
Notably, the singer had gone viral for her appearance as a regular middle aged woman with an extraordinary singing.
The Josh Safdie directed film, Marty Supreme is loosely based on American table tennis player Marty Reisman.
