Taylor Swift and Jack Antonoff have been long-time collaborators, partnering since their first song together in 2013 Sweeter Than Fiction.
As the 36-year-old was rumoured to be feuding with her producer Jack, he broke his silence during a recent interview.
During a Howard Stern podcast, the 42-year-old was asked about his feeling on not being able to produce her last studio record The Life of A Showgirl.
The musician admitted that “it is really weird” for missing out on the 12th album, adding: “I only feel grateful for the work that has happened.”
Jack indirectly addressed the feud rumours with the Grammy winner, saying: “I write my own songs and sing them… that need to have different collaborators and jump around.”
According to him, it is “not normal to have the same collaborators over and over again.” Jack called it a “weird miracle” when he “had it with people.
On the other hand, Taylor put the buzz about bad blood between the two to rest with her recent interview for The New York Times.
She cleared the air by calling the We Are Young crooner “one of [her] best friends,” insisting he is her “collaborator.”
The Lover crooner disclosed their “rant bridge” which the two “established this thing that we love to do,” gushing about their bond.
