Sydney Sweeney confirms 'Mamma Mia 3' role alongside Amanda Seyfried?

Sydney Sweeney was hit with a major blow after she faced three back-to-back flops while her The Housemaid gears up for release on December 19.

Although the 28-year-old actress stirred several controversies, Sydney is seemingly not ready to quit as she dished on her upcoming role after the new project.

On a red carpet interview with Variety, the Euphoria star was asked about the next Mamma Mia film and if she is going to be part of it amid ongoing buzz.

The Hollywood A-list star gushed about the opportunity, “of course” as she claimed to be “the biggest fan.”

However, Sydney’s role remains undecided as she pitched herself in a unique way: She wouldn't mind being "just like your assistant” and doesn’t necessarily need to be acting.

For the LA premiere of the project, the Anyone But You lead was dressed in a long, white gown that channelled Marilyn Monroe.

This came after her co-star Amanda Seyfried expressed her desire to share screen once again in the musical comedy after the working with her in the new film.

While the Oscar nominee wants to see “Sophie with her kids,” she would like to have Sydney join in as a distant cousin she “hasn’t seen in a while.”
