Prince Harry’s next UK visit could be sooner than expected.
The Duke of Sussex last visited his homeland in September when he met his father King Charles after more than a year.
The meeting was considered first step towards their reconciliation and now the new update has sparked more hope.
As per The Sun, the Home Office has ordered a threat assessment of Harry’s security arrangements while in the UK.
Now, the public-funded security of the Sussex, who stepped down from royal duties and moved to US in 2020, is under review.
Earlier this year, Harry visited UK to appear in court for his case.
After being denied the request, Harry wrote to the home secretary, Shabana Mahmood, shortly after her appointment.
The duke submitted a formal request for a risk assessment to the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec).
As per the father-of-two, without the security arrangements, it has been “impossible” for him to bring Meghan and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to the UK.
The source has revealed that the assessment is underway and a decision is expected next month.
