Dame Judi makes bold statement about Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey

Dame Judi Dench has made some shocking revelations about what she things of Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey currently.

The Pulp Fiction filmmaker’s image has plummeted after he was convicted of being a sex offender and the House of Cards actor was accused of sexual assault, but cleared by the court of law.

In an interview with Radio Times, the English actress was asked if she can forgive both of the disgraced celebrities she was once close with.

“Kevin has been exonerated and I hear from Kevin, we text. I saw a bit of film of Harvey walking with two sticks and you think, ‘Well…’” Judi stated.

“I knew Harvey and I knew him well and worked with him, and I had none of that experience – very fortunately for me. I imagine he’s done his time … I don’t know, to me it’s personal – forgiveness,” she added.

Judi, at the time that Harvey’s controversies came to light, had acknowledged that he had helped propel her career but that she condemned his horrifying actions and sympathised with the victims.

Notably, the Skyfall actress also added that she was not aware of the Shakespeare in Love producer’s actions during the time they were friends.

Harvey Weinstein has been imprisoned and is currently being held at Rikers Island in New York, serving a 16 year sentence for a different case in California.
