Kate Middleton stunned at the state banquet on Wednesday with a dazzling tiara on her head.
The Princess of Wales attended the event alongside her husband Prince William, dressed in a blue cape gown by Jenny Packham.
The banquet was hosted in honour of the German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife, Elke Büdenbender.
The event marked historic return of the German leadership in UK after 27 long years.
At the event, while Kate stole the spotlight, her tiara grabbed major attention.
The mother-of-three wore a crown from the royal collection called Oriental Circlet Tiara which is a rarely seen piece.
The tiara worn by the future queen has special history to it as it is only worn by queens.
The jewellry piece was crafted in 1853 for Queen Victoria under the direction of her husband, Prince Albert.
The piece was originally set with a collection of opals, 2600 diamonds and Indian-inspired design of lotus flowers and Mughal arches, as Queen Victoria was the “Empress of India”.
Last time, the tiara was seen worn by Queen Elizabeth II in 2006 and almost two decades later, Kate brought the piece out again for the grand night.
