Harry sends emotional messaage to UK ahead of Kate’s big event
The duke wrote an emotional message
Prince Harry, who is reported to spend the festive season in US with his wife Meghan Markle and kids, penned an emotional message for UK.
On Monday, UK-based charity WellChild revealed Harry’s letter to them ahead of the festive season.
The Duke of Sussex penned the message as the patron of the charity saying he is “humbled by the extraordinary spirit of the WellChild community.”
“While the challenges facing families caring for children with complex medical needs have not lessened, the strength and resilience of those families, and the charity that supports them, remain steadfast.”
The father-of-two continued to praise the efforts of the charity for “advocating, innovating, and ensuring” that the sick children are taken care of.
The UK-based charity works for the wellbeing of seriously ill children and their families.
He concluded the message with “Your part in our story changes lives every day, and I am honoured to stand beside you in this mission.”
The message comes days before Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton is set to host her annual Christmas Carol Service at the Westminster Abbey in London on December 5.
While Harry’s UK visit is anticipated, it is also not impossible as the 41-year-old met his father King Charles in September in a private meeting sparking hope for reconciliation.
