Princess Anne, who is often called the most hard-working royal, has been dubbed as the “absolute brick” of the royal family.
The princess, who was born to Queen Elizabth II and Prince Phillip in 1950, has remained a loyal individual who has worked for the Crown all her life.
The royal remained steadfast on her duties amid the Andrew-Sarah crisis that had embroiled the family in deep trouble.
The Princess Royal hosted a Christmas Tea Party in honour of veterans and their families at St James's Palace for The Not Forgotten Association.
The 75-year-old chatted with Dorothea Barron, 101, who served with the Wrens between 1943 and 1945.
Dorothea told the princess he is the “absolute brick of the royal family”.
“She's practical, she's down to earth and she's a damned hard worker”, she added.
Anne is associated with over 300 organisations and works all year attending hundreds of engagements every year.
The princess recently completed her visit to Australia and Singapore before heading back home all while the monarch was dealing with stripping Andrew of his titles.
Anne’s steadfastness was the need of the moment to keep the family together and maintain the objective of the Crown.
