Stranger Things has seemingly become one of the most anticipated series on Netlflix which was evident after Netflix faced a major setback.

It was reported that the streaming giant crashed after the first volume of finale premiered on November 26, 20205.

One of the creators, Ross Duffer broke his silence on the situation by expressing his gratitude towards all their fans.

He shared a new update on the crash report along with a text that read: “Love you guys.”

The mastermind’s earlier Instagram story revealed that the streaming platform ended up increasing “brandwidth by 30 percent to avoid a crash.”

After the show released the first four episodes of season 5, a Rotten Tomatoes critic comment pointed out that the Netflix original’s latest part solidified “its pop culture classic status with genuinely captivating genre fare.”

Before streaming, the announcement video alone garnered 250 million views within four days, breaking previous records for the platform.

Did Stranger Things Season 5 break records?

It appears that the new part will greatly add to the popularity of the series, seemingly paving its way to become the most watched English-language series.

While Netflix will release its streaming hours and records if any in few weeks, previous instalment earned 140.7 million streams and was watched for 1.8 billion hours.
