Pam Hogg, the groundbreaking Scottish fashion designer, has died.

The designer who has dressed famous celebs like Kate Moss, Beyonce, Debbie Harry, and Princess Eugenie, was having her treatment at St John's Hospice in Hackney, east London.

On Wednesday, November 26, Hogg's family broke the saddening news through social media in a statement with a photograph of the late icon posing on a beach.

"The Hogg Family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Pamela," the statement read.

Hogg's family shared that she was peaceful in her final hours and was "surrounded by the loving care of cherished friends and family." The statement further thanked the staff of St Joseph's Hospital.

"Pamela's creative spirit and body of work touched the lives of many people of all ages," the social media post read, "and she leaves a magnificent legacy that will continue to inspire, bring joy and challenge us to live beyond the confines of convention."

The statement concluded with, "Pamela will continue to live in our hearts and minds. A glorious life lived and loved."

Who is Pam Hogg?

Pam Hogg (4 January 1959 – 26 November 2025) was a boundary-pushing Scottish fashion designer who burst onto the scene with her debut collection in 1981.

Over the years, her fearless aesthetic dressed icons including Ian Astbury of The Cult, Paula Yates, Marie Helvin, Siouxsie Sioux, and Blondie’s Debbie Harry.

Known for crafting pieces people didn’t even realise they craved, Hogg built her legacy on an unmistakable style that was entirely, unapologetically her own.
