American singer Katy Perry is seeking multi-million dollar damage compensation amid legal battle over California house.
The pop star has had a year full of ups and downs where she went to space but also split from her fiance Orlando Bloom.
Now, by the end of the year, the Roar singer is embroiled in another battle over her house.
In 2020, the year she welcomed her daughter, the singer bought house from Carl Westvott while she was still with Orlando.
However, later Carl claimed he was weak on painkillers when he signed the paperwork with Katy.
Following his claim, Katy filed a lawsuit against Carl which was ruled in her favour in May 2024.
The judgement was given that Carl “was of sound mind and presented no persuasive evidence that he lacked capacity to enter into a real estate contract”.
According to recent update, Katy is now claiming that Carl is “accountable for lost money in rentals as well as for repairs she needed to make on the mansion”.
Katy is now demanding Carl to pay her $4,718,698.95 for damages she claims he caused for “extended litigation over the real estate sale”.
