Ethan Slater reveals ‘biggest fear’ after breakup rumours

Ethan Slater admits his feelings about fame, anxiety triggers, and the fear he carries in his heart every day.

The Gen V star admits he gets anxious while communicating his thoughts.

The 33-year-old actor is currently dating the pop icon Ariana Grande. Rumours of the couple's split have been ongoing.

Ethan admitted he struggles with basic things. “I have a lot of faults. I’m not good at responding to text messages,” he said, while talking to FAULT magazine.

He spoke about how his silence at times gets misunderstood. “It can make it seem like I don’t care about people I love, but it’s really about overwhelm.”

He also talked about how his constantly ringing phone triggers his anxiety. “I struggle separating the anxiety of everything coming through my phone from the messages that genuinely matter.”

Ethan also revealed a deeper fear. “I definitely have a fear of being misunderstood… I feel frequently misunderstood, but you know, that is what it is.”

Even with growing fame, Ethan feels he blends into the background. “I don’t think I’m that recognisable… the more people see the different roles, the more they remember I’m playing characters.”
