King Charles’ security has been tightened as the royal family prepares for the festive season ahead.

Buckingham Palace announced an important meeting that is due to take place at Windsor Castle, which will require strict security protocols in place.

As the meeting nears, the security authorities are taking all necessary measures to protect the King, Queen and all the guests.

As per ITV, Thames Valley Police will be working with the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Council, along with Royal Househole to ensure “the event runs safely with minimal disruption”.

In addition, a restricted air space will be placed above the Windsor next week.

“We have a significant security operation in place for President Steinmeier’s visit,” Superintendent Adrian Hall, of Thames Valley Police’s Joint Operations Unit said.

Next week, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and First Lady Elke Büdenbender are due to visit the country for a state visit.

Adrian gave more updates saying “Police drones, alongside support from the Civil Aviation Authority and National Air Traffic Services, will help us to enforce these restrictions.”

After the German couple’s visit, Kate Middleton’s Together at Christmas concert is due to take place on December 5 at Westminster Abbey in London.
