Prince William gave a sweet shoutout to his wife Kate Middleton during his trip to North Wales.
The future king landed on the shores of North Wales on Tuesday for royal duties, where he was welcomed by excited well wishers.
William took a walk along the shore town of Colwyn Bay in North Wales to raise awareness for the work of young boys of the coastal communities.
The Prince of Wales was shown the Youth Shedz’s outreach Bus “Betsi,” which travels to reach young people in the community.
During a conversation with Youth Shedz founder Scott Jenkinson, William found out how Scott’s wife, Sian, had been his support.
William asked Sian “Were you there with Scott when he turned his life around?”
Scott, praising his wife, said “With my wife behind me. You know that.”
In response, the prince said “This is it. Behind every average man there is an even better wife.”
The subtle praise for wives was received positively by the people present.
Kate, aftering recovering from cancer treatments, has been performing royal duties more actively this year and is expected to take over fully soon.
