Piers Morgan mocks Meghan Markle’s royal title usage

British broadcaster Piers Morgan has taken another jab at Meghan Markle days after extending an olive branch to the royal couple.
Meghan Markle is often criticised for her usage of royal titles despite stepping down from her royal duties along with husband Prince Harry.
In an exclusive interview Harper’s Bazaar, the journalist Kaitlyn Greenidge reveals that when she arrived to meet Meghan at a friend’s Upper East Side brownstone, the Duchess’ arrival was announced with her royal titles.
“When I enter, the house manager announces, ‘Meghan, Duchess of Sussex,’ even though we appear to be the only other two people in the house.”, she wrote.
The story made rounds on social media platforms garnering attention and one of the critics was the English journalist.
Quoting the story posted by Page Six, Piers mocked the title “Meghan Markle’s staff announces royal before she enters room”.
Piers responded to the news atory with numerous laughing emojis.
This reaction came days after the journalist extended an olive branch to the royal couple, who he has been a major critic of ever since they moved to US in 2020.
