Princess Diana’s legacy lives on even after 28 years of her passing.

The Princess of Wales was only 36 when she passed away in a car crash in Paris leaving a legacy defined by compassion and philanthropy.

After 28 years of the fatal crash, a new wax figure was revealed in Paris, the very city the late princess spent her last moments in.

The wax figure features the iconic “revenge dress” that Diana wore after her former husband, then-Prince Charles, publicly admitted to having been unfaithful to her.

The figure was ordered in Paris after the director of the Grevin Museum visited London and was underwhelmed by the Diana figure at at Madame Tussauds.

The visit prompted Grevin to commission his own version, which opened on Thursday at the Grevin Museum.

The life-size figure replicated Diana’s look from June 29 1994 visit to the Serpentine Gallery in Kensington Gardens.

Diana stands tall in a off-the-shoulder black dress, similar to the one the princess wore designed by Christina Stambolian.

Interestingly, the figure was opened on the 30th anniversary of Diana’s iconic BBC interview in which she laid everything bare.
