As Netflix’s hit romantic comedy series Emily in Paris returns for another season, Lucas Bravo is reflecting on Lily Collins' dedication and professionalism on the show.
Bravo, who plays the hunky French chef on the series, named Gabriel, joined Variety to talk about his upcoming show on Netflix, as well as HBO Max's upcoming series The Seduction.
When the actor was asked how it had been to star opposite Collins, Bravo was overwhelmed as he praised the actress.
“I don’t think I’ve ever worked with someone that professional,” he said. “She raises the bar to a level I’ve never seen before.”
The Ticket to Paradise actor shared that Collins makes him a better performer because of her presence on set, the way she learns and delivers dialogues, and how she participates.
“She sees everything,” Bravo added. “She has a radar. Even when she looks like she’s reading something, she always has something smart to contribute that moves the narrative forward.”
Bravo believes Collins is “a genius, but don’t tell her that, she won’t acknowledge it.”
Emily in Paris Season 5 drops on Netflix Dec. 18.
