Andrew’s woes are nowhere near over.

The son of Queen Elizabeth II lost his royal titles and was notified to vacate his home two decades, the Royal Lodge after sentiments rose against him amid the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.

The former duke had already ceased to be a working royal during the reign of his mother in 2019.

However, being stripped of his titles is not being deemed enough by anti-monarchy groups.

Republic, an anti-monarchy group is raising money to fund private prosecution against te disgraced royal family member.

In the campaign launched online, Republic is aiming to collect £50,000.

Interestingly, the organisation has already amassed nearly £20,000.

A private prosecution in such a case can cost anything from £15,000 to £150,000 or more.

The group said “Republic has instructed lawyers to pursue a private prosecution of Andrew Mountbatten Windsor (Formerly known as Prince Andrew) over accusations of sexual offences and misconduct in public office.”

They stated that despite calling for Andrew to be investigated, no step has been taken by the government so they will take the responsibility.

After Andrew’s title loss, the family of Virginia Giuffre, who accused the former duke of sexual offences, also called for a full investigation.
