Millie Bobby Brown, who first joined the Netflix hit back in 2016, has opened up about her “wonderful” journey on Stranger Things.

The 21-year-old actress reflected on how much the show has shaped her life, admitting she’s grown up alongside her on-screen alter ego, Eleven.

While speaking to Extra, she said: “It’s amazing. It’s been such a wonderful journey. It’s been half my life … I don’t know what my life would be without the show.

It’s just been so impactful to me and I’m so blessed and grateful to be a part of it.”

Millie revealed that her bond with Eleven runs deep, adding: “She’s just grown up with me. We started this together.

I developed her and she’s become a part of me — not through choice, it’s just inherent because I was so young and impressionable.”

As fans eagerly await the fifth and final season, the Damsel actress teased that Eleven is “stronger than she’s ever been” and “more opinionated”, adding that viewers will see her in a “more human way and less of a superhero way”.

Her co-star Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers, also shared his excitement, saying he loved working with Millie in the show’s final chapter.

"It’s been such a joy — I love getting to share the screen with this pretty girl,” he said.
