Dharmendra health update: Bollywood stars visit as he stabilizes

Bollywood legend Dharmendra was rushed to the hospital due to health issues and was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital.

The news spread like wildfire on Monday, November 10. The rumours have it that the Bollywood icon was put on the ventilator support, but later, Dharmendra’s son’s team and his wife cleared the air.

A family insider told PTI that Dharmendra’s hospital stay was purely precautionary.

“He is elderly and requires proper attention from doctors. There’s nothing to worry about,” the source added.

His wife, Hema Malini, visited him at the hospital and urged fans to pray for his recovery.

“We’re hoping for his speedy recovery,” she wrote on X, expressing her concern for her husband.

Sunny Deol was also spotted at the hospital, while Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan made visits to offer support during this critical time.

Govinda and Ameesh Patel also dropped by to check on the legendary actor.

Dharmendra, whose career spans decades, is celebrated for some of Hindi cinema’s biggest hits.

According to IANS, he is under close observation by a team of top doctors. What began as a routine check-up ended up requiring extended care.

The veteran actor, last seen alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, is also gearing up for Sriram Raghavan’s upcoming film Ikkis.
