Sean “Diddy” Combs, now disgraced hip-hop mogul, has been snapped enjoying a casual chat behind bars, with the former NBA prodigy Sebastian Telfair.

The 55-year-old rapper, currently serving a four-year sentence at FCI Fort Dix, was spotted laughing and mingling with fellow inmates in the prison yard.

TMZ obtained two exclusive photos showing the Bad Boy Records founder dressed in prison greys, standing alongside Telfair, the once-celebrated Brooklyn basketball star now serving time for violating his supervised release in a healthcare fraud case.

Both Brooklyn natives, the pair have become unlikely prison pals at the low-security New Jersey facility, which houses over 4,000 inmates.

Sources say Diddy has adjusted to prison life and even joined the jail’s rehabilitation programme after being transferred from Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center.

The 40-year-old former basketball player, who once dazzled the NBA after being drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers in 2004, is nearing the halfway mark of his six-month sentence.

The Last Night singer, meanwhile, is said to be sober for the first time in 25 years and could be released early in May 2028 if he maintains good behaviour under the First Step Act.

What were the criminal charges of Sean “Diddy” Combs’?

Sean “Diddy” Combs was convicted in July 2024 on two counts of transportation for prostitution.

These charges stem from a federal investigation that alleged Diddy was involved in organising and funding the transport of individuals across state lines for illegal sexual activity.

Prosecutors described it as part of a wider pattern of exploitation and abuse linked to his lifestyle and business dealings.

While he has maintained that some of the encounters were consensual, the court ruled that his actions violated federal laws under the Mann Act, which prohibits transporting people for prostitution or other illegal sexual purposes.

He was sentenced to 50 months in prison and transferred from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn to FCI Fort Dix, a low-security federal prison in New Jersey, where he is now participating in a rehabilitation programme.
