Stripping Andrew’s titles ‘not enough’: Anti-monarchy CEO

The CEO of an anti-monarchy group has shared his thoughts on the historic news of Andrew being stripped of his titles.

On October 30, a landmark news was shared in a statement from the Palace revealing Andrew will be stripe dof his style, titles and honours and will now be called “Andrew Mountbatten Windsor”.

Graham Smith, CEO of the group Republic, has spoken about the decision on The Royalist podcast expressing his dissatisfaction.

He said “the problem is the royals keep thinking this is enough. I couldn’t care less about the prince title.”

Speaking of the accusations Andrew is facing, he said “I do not believe that there is not enough evidence to have a genuine police investigation.”

The statement released by the Palace also mentioned that Andrew will have to vacate his home of two decades, the Royal Lodge.

As per Graham, what Andrew is called or where he lives “is not an appropriate response”.

UK trade minister Chris Bryant also called for Andrew to face US judiciary with respect to his involvement in Jeffery Epstein’s wrongdoings.

The family of Virginia Giuffre, who accused Prince Andrew of sexual abuse, has also declared “victory”.
