Ariana Grande reveals Beyoncé’s sweet invitation to music shoot

Ariana Grande, after she gained fame in her career, had unwavering support from the Queen of Pop, Beyoncé.

During a new episode of the Shut Up Evan podcast posted Friday, October 24, Grande revealed how the Destiny’s Child alum invited her to a music video shoot in 2013.

“Beyoncé had me come visit a music video she was shooting, and I was just there in the corner,” she told host Evan Ross Katz. “I was like, ‘Why am I here?’ It was after I sang ‘Tattooed Heart’ on the AMAs.”

The Thank U, Next singer recalled Beyoncé inviting her to the set and her kindness as she shared some important advice.

“She invited me to set to visit her,” Grande said, “and she just was being kind — she gave me a little bit of advice, and, you know, I asked, but she was so kind.”

The Grammy-winning artist also mentioned Madonna’s support after she rose to fame. The Like a Virgin icon was one of the first people to reach out to her and give a warm welcome to Grande.

“But yeah, I feel like I had people I really looked up to embrace me,” Grande added. “It made me feel safe.”
