After the model’s response on facing competition in market was seen as a diss on the 33-year-old, the Rhode owner turned to Instagram to reveal what her brand truly is.

In the statement, the entrepreneur affirmed that the beauty line “thinks about things holistically and what feels right.”

Moreover, the model highlighted the fact that they “don’t play by anybody else’s rules... and any strategy” being an independent entity.

While the Rhode founder did not mention Selena or Rare Beauty, the remarks were seen as an indirect “rejection” of support that the songstress offered recently.

Meanwhile, a netizen criticised her, claiming that the mother-of-one is “so obsessed with Selena” as she first said: “she didn’t mention her and today posting that.”

In the now-deleted update, the newly-married musician asked her fans to “be kind,” noting: “All brands inspire me. There is room for everyone.”
