John Stamos is opening up about the nature of his relationship with Lori Loughlin, since the actress seemed to be an unrequited love.
The General Hospital actor and the Secret Admirer actress played love interests, Aunt Becky and Uncle Jesse, in Full House.
In the headline-making episode of the Good Guys podcast, the 62-year-old began by explaining that a lot of people think that they were romantically involved which is actually not the case.
“You know, I happened to say she was the one that got away in something — I think it was before I met [wife] Caitlin [McHugh] — and, you know, it was an interesting thing."
"I wrote about in the book, there was a very small window of the two of us being single at the same time,” Stamos said.
The Fuller House star also responded to hosts Josh Peck and Ben Soffer’s fan submitted question, if he would leave his wife for the 61-year-old actress.
“No f*** way!” he exclaimed, adding “I’m not Mormon. Do you do that with your wife? Are you a swinger?”
Stamos also made remarks about Loughlin’s divorce from her husband of nearly three decades Mossimo Giannulli, noting that him and Caitlin have made efforts to support the actress through the tough time, especially since she lives close by.
Stamos noted in his memoir that he did not like the twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, initially but then missed them when they were not around.
