Sarah Paulson opens up about transforming into Kim Kardashian role

Sarah Paulson is opening up about the extreme makeover she underwent to channel Kim Kardashian in All’s Fair.

At the Los Angeles premiere of the Ryan Murphy legal drama on Thursday, October 16, the American Horror Story alum revealed that her on-screen transformation into Kardashian’s character, Allura Grant, was a joint effort, with Kim herself helping fine-tune the look.

In the newly released trailer, Paulson’s character, Carrington Lane, faces off against Kardashian’s Allura in a fierce courtroom rivalry.

The preview ends with Allura declaring “love and war,” while Carrington stuns in a daring outfit and makeup strikingly similar to Kim’s signature glam.

“Probably my number one memory is dressing up as Kim,” Paulson told Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet, teasing that the trailer only shows “a hair’s breadth” of what’s to come.

She went on to praise Kardashian for being “so game” throughout the process, even sharing her exact beauty secrets. “She was like, ‘This is the lip liner I use, this is the lip gloss. Let’s get the hair color matched,” Paulson recalled.

Calling her co-star “extraordinary” and “down to clown,” Paulson credited Kardashian’s humor and openness for making the bold transformation possible.
