Reese Witherspoon spills love secret to Jennifer Aniston: Morning Show

Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon find themselves in a mess in the new season of The Morning Show.

In a new teasing clip from the Apple TV+ series’ fourth season, shared on Wednesday, October 15, Witherspoon arrives at Aniston’s apartment to discuss her contract at UBA.

However, the conversation quickly turns into an unbelievable confession for Aniston.

Aniston plays Alex Levy, a veteran morning show anchor, while Witherspoon portrays Bradley Jackson, a bold and outspoken field reporter who unexpectedly lands a co-anchor role alongside Alex.

"I can't sign a contract extension right now. I don't wanna get involved in all this Chris stuff," Bradley (Witherspoon) says in the clip. "Not to mention, I feel like you didn't really want me here in the first place."

"Well, no, no, but the extension is my idea," Alex (Aniston) exclaims, taking Bradley by surprise.

"Really? Why?" she asks.

"Because, clearly, I'm a masochist, and even though you're a huge pain in the ass, I really, I believe in you," Alex confesses.

"Well, maybe you shouldn't," Bradley blurts out, revealing the truth: "I slept with Cory."

Catching Alex off guard, Bradley adds, "It just happened."

"Yeah, just like an oops?" Alex replies.

"I was a mess. And he seemed safe," Bradley says of Cory (Billy Crudup), but her explanation leaves Alex even more confused. "Cory Ellison? Seemed safe? Like an open elevator shaft kind of safe?"

The long-anticipated romance between Bradley and Cory finally unfolded in the season’s third episode, which premiered on October 1.
