'Marty Supreme' earns Timothee Chalamet major praise amid surprise premiere

Timothee Chalamet, who is known for his role in Dune series, appeared on the premiere of his new movie Marty Supreme at The New York Film Festival. 

The screening, which was also attended by Kylie Jenner, garnered reviews on the new movie and his performance as Marty Mauser in particular.

Timothee, who is the youngest male actor to be Oscar nominated in the best actor category, was applauded for his character in the sports drama.

Matt Neglia penned down on X (formerly Twitter) about the upcoming project, calling it “a sprawling and electrifying sports epic bursting with vitality from the first frame to the last.”

Another critic pointed out that the Wonka lead “delivers the performance of a lifetime” in this cinematic motion picture.

The director of the movie Josh Safdie earned praise for Marty Supreme, with one calling it his “best film yet” as it is a “kinetic odyssey.”

Apart from winning hearts with his on-screen performance, the actor was able to shut down break up rumours with his flame Kylie after the two were spotted enjoying at an after-party.

After the Paris Fashion Week, the model flew from “Capital of Fashion” to the New York City solely to attend the movie’s premiere.

When is Marty Supreme releasing?

The film, starring Timothee and Gwyneth Paltrow, is expected to hit the theatres by the end of this year on December 25, 2025 after its surprise screening on Monday night.
