Ben Stiller reveals unknown secret about reunion with wife

Ben Stiller, who is known for being the director of Severance, got candid about his personal life in his newly released documentary.

Although the 59-year-old actor is notable for his unhinged comedy, Ben has been through tough phases in his personal life after separating with Christine Taylor.

Despite having a stable career in the entertainment industry, the Happy Gilmore 2 lead felt “kind of disconnected from my family… my kids and just a little bit lost.”

In the documentary, Ben unveiled how the relationship gap helped him understand his love for the family unit, resulting in the couple’s reconciliation after “three or four years.”

While earlier speaking to the New York Times, the Zoolander actor earlier revealed that he and his wife parted ways for just having “space to see what our relationship was.”

After finding their “way back,” the actor and his wife were able to raise their daughter Ella and son Quinlin together in their home.

However, the documentary Stiller & Meara: Nothing Is Lost focuses on his early years growing up with his sibling Amy and parents Jerry and Anne Stiller.

The dark phase in his relationship pushed him to “think about my parents and all the stress and tension I remember seeing as a kid” which intrigued him to explore “how they did it.”

His reunion with wife Christine came in February 2022 after they were spotted hanging together at multiple outings.
