Prince William just made the ultimate pop culture crossover, stepping aboard Doctor Who’s iconic TARDIS during a royal visit to Bad Wolf Studios in Cardiff.
The Prince of Wales, 43, toured the set of the legendary BBC sci-fi series as part of the studio’s 10th anniversary celebrations.
William also got a behind-the-scenes look at The Other Bennet Sister, an upcoming BBC period drama currently in production.
Bad Wolf CEO Jane Tranter said the future king’s visit was “a complete joy,” adding: “We’re so proud of the outreach work being done through Screen Alliance Wales, and for Prince William to highlight that work means a great deal.”
During the visit, William met trainees from Screen Alliance Wales (SAW), many of whom received his Prince William Bafta Bursary, and spoke with them about their careers in film and television.
The prince also dropped by a puppetry workshop for schoolchildren, where students from St Albans RC Primary School learned about character design using puppets from His Dark Materials.
