It may now be “impossible” for Sarah Ferguson to ever rejoin the royal inner circle, according to a leading royal expert.
The 65-year-old ex-wife of Prince Andrew is facing a major PR crisis after the resurfacing of a 2011 email she sent to Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex offender.
In the message, Ferguson reportedly referred to Epstein as her “supreme friend” and apologized for criticizing him publicly.
Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond told The Mirror: “These latest revelations about Fergie’s association with Epstein, and the prospect there’s more to come, make it impossible for her to be part of the inner family circle again.”
Bond added that King Charles now faces a “tricky domestic situation”, saying it’s “inconceivable” that Sarah or Andrew would appear publicly at Sandringham for Christmas this year.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told Express.co.uk that Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are likely “devastated” by their parents’ situation.
