Sarah Ferguson has suffered another financial setback after reportedly losing £400,000 on a London property deal, just weeks after being dragged into a Jeffrey Epstein email scandal.
According to GB News, the Duchess of York bought a Belgravia townhouse in 2022 for £4.25 million in cash, intended as an investment for her daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
However, she has now sold it for £3.85 million, taking a major hit on the luxury home.
According to Express, a spokesperson confirmed that Ferguson “wasn’t looking to sell,” but agreed after her tenant offered to buy the property.
“It’s an investment property for her girls, and so the monies will be reinvested accordingly,” said her rep James Henderson.
The timing of the sale has raised eyebrows, coming just before explosive reports resurfaced linking Ferguson to emails sent to Epstein in 2011, shortly after his release from prison for child sex offences.
In the emails, she appeared to call Epstein her “supreme friend” and apologized for previously criticizing him.
