Taylor Swift’s speech at Selena Gomez’s wedding left guests in tears
The singer was one of the 170 guests at Selena’s wedding
Selena Gomez tied the knot with her partner Benny Blanco on September 27 after getting engaged in December 2024.
The ceremony was a private affair attended by 170 guests that included Selena’s pop star best friend Taylor Swift.
Taylor, who also got engaged to her partner Travis Kelce in August, gave an emotional speech at the wedding.
The pop icon’s speech left many guests in tears, according to RadarOnline.
The speech included Taylor recalling how her and the Emilia Pérez star have been through “so much together both professionally and personally.”
The 35-year-old also mentioned how they have bene there for each other in times of heartbreak.
The Love Story singer also shared how Selena came to the realisation that Benny was the one for her.
Calling the newly married couple a “perfect pair”, Taylor said this is the happiest she has seen her friend.
The pop star also joked about Selena “beating” her to the altar as she got married before Taylor tied the knot with her footballer fiance.
Taylor and Selena’s friendship began in 2008 when both of them were dating the Jonas Brothers.
