Kate Middleton's key bond with one royal who will help her when she becomes queen

Kate Middleton knows how important certain relationships are and how to build them that will be fruitful for the royal family in the future.

The Princess of Wales has bonds that many believe will help her when she eventually becomes the Queen Consort when her husband Prince William will be crowned as the King of Great Britain.

Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, has been long considered a key figure of the royal family and Kate enjoys her time with her.

Alongside serving as King Charles' trusted envoy, Sophie is particularly photographed with the Prince and Princess of Wales looking delighted.

It is believed that when William becomes king, his aunt will play a pivotal role which can help Kate.

In addition to that, William will be grateful to have his uncle and aunt by his side.

Former BBC Royal correspondent Jennie Bond commented on the two royal women’s relationship saying they look more like sisters than aunt and nephew’s wife.

Sophie has been there for the future queen from the start and supported her.

Both women come from middle-class backgrounds who married into the royal family so their shared experience can strengthen their bond.

Kate also reportedly admires Sophie for how she has raised her kids, Lady Louise Windsor and James, Earl of Wessex.
