Selena Gomez will finally be walking down the aisle to marry her fiancé and lover Benny Blanco.

Although the 33-year-old singer has had romantic relationships with several gentlemen, Selena decided to make the record producer her forever person. The two have been very open about their romantic bond, gushing about each other on social media platforms.

While the relationship between the pop icon and Benny was rather unusual for many, the groom-to-be won hearts with gestures for his flame that were out of the world. Soon, he was regarded as someone setting examples for men and raising standards for the ladies.

1. Prom for Selena Gomez

After getting to know his sweetheart never got to experience a prom night like any other high school student, the Eastside songmaker decided to fill the void with a luxurious twist. 

The two went for a limousine ride before clicking pictures together at a mall. The moments from the themed-date night instantly went viral over the internet.

During an interview with Jennifer Hudson, Benny admitted it was his “favourite prom.”

2. Bathtub full of Queso for Valentine’s Day

Despite getting mocked by many, Benny ensured that he makes a statement for the songstress on Valentine’s Day.

Instead of a traditional rose bouquet or any grandiose floral arrangement at their place, the 37-year-old filled an entire bathtub with queso cheese to signify their love for food. He arranged tortilla chips in a message that read: “I heart you.”

This was widely seen as a bizarre move by their fans; however, he noted in the caption that his fiancée isn’t much of “flower girl.”

3. Surprise after party following Emmy awards:

After the couple stole the spotlight on the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards on September 14, Selena came home to a surprise after party waiting for her. 

The evening event was planned by none other than her husband-to-be. The Calm Down crooner, dressed in a gray Louis Vuitton dress, shared photographs to her Instagram. In one of the pictures, she posed with her arms wide open as several candles lit their swimming pool.

4. A sweet note with Steak

The record producer is known for being a talented songwriter, but that’s not all as he showed his skills in the kitchen too. The singer updated her social media family about being taken care of by her fiancé.

He prepared a steak for his flame and left a caring note on a tissue paper that read: “I Love You! Sleep Well! I Made You Steak!” The move is a reminder that not every act of love requires to be grand and luxurious. It’s the thought that counts.

5. Renting out entire theatre

During his appearance at Howard Stern’s show, the Diamonds hitmaker revealed a date night set-up that proved he is not shying away from spoiling his wife-to-be.

He came up with a plan to watch the movie, something Selena loves, in a way no-one has ever imagined. The iHeartRadio Music Award winner admitted doing a research by reaching out to her grandma, mom and best friend in order to decide special dish for the day.

As a result, Benny brought in “a deep fryer” at the threatre to enjoy nachos with homemade pickles that he revealed was prepared onsite. The two then enjoyed her all-time favourite Almost Famous.
