Margot Robbie’s latest movie, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, co-starring Colin Farrell, has reportedly failed to meet fans’ expectations.
The romantic fantasy film, which premiered on September 19, earned just $3.5 million at the box office, falling far short of its $50 million budget.
Critics described the film as “all over the place,” lacking “authenticity or freshness,” and noted that the story becomes boring as it progresses.
Even the “amazing chemistry” between the two co-stars couldn’t save it.
Fans of the Suicide Squad alum and Farrell were so disappointed that they rushed to social media to voice their frustration.
“This film was awful, lacked everything I look for in a movie,” one fan wrote.
Another commented, “WTF DID I JUST WATCH? WANT MY BARBIE BACK.”
“A Big Bold Complete Disaster. Honestly, expected more from them,” a separate follower added.
The disappointment seems justified, as the previous Barbie movie starring the 35-year-old actress and Ryan Gosling was a success, earning 12 Grammy nominations and winning in three categories.
For the unversed, Farrell is set to reprise his role in Matt Reeves’ The Batman: Part II.
According to the sources, the production is scheduled to begin in spring 2026, with the release planned for October 2027.
