Taking to his Instagram, the 35-year-old singer admitted that he has his “personal reasons” which forced him to call off the much-anticipated show.
The Blinding Light hitmaker further expressed his gratitude towards his fans for “taking action” as the tickets can be earned by attendees through a charity work, helping to put an end to poverty.
However, those who are looking forward to show can watch Cardi B perform instead as it was soon announced that the rapper would be filling the void.
As The Weeknd revealed that he previously suffered a mental breakdown, fans were instantly concerned with one user questioning: “Wait… Is The Weeknd okay?”
While many contested to the swap in eleventh-hour as an admirer debated: “Out of everyone yall pick Cardi B to replace him???”
Meanwhile, it remains uncertain whether he would be appearing in next shows of After Hours Til Dawn Tour. The Grammy winner is touring in support of his last three albums After Hours, Dawn FM and Hurry Up Tomorrow.
