Taylor Swift, who is about to release her new album, is usually expected to attend a football game after her public relationship with NFL star Travis Kelce.
Like any other games, the 35-year-old was being searched by the attendees and the online community alike at the MetLife Stadium.
With her song Welcome to New York playing in the background, a Taylor cam was employed to look for her in the crowd watching Chiefs vs. Giants.
However, Lawrence Taylor was spotted instead on the jumbotron, smoking a cigar like “a boss” as one X user noted that he is the “only man allowed to openly smoke in the stadium.”
Another admirer noted that the 66-year-old was not “only smoking in the stadium but inhaling that cigar smoke. Cold blooded,” while a third netizen called him a “legend.”
The former player is notable for being the greatest defensive player of all time for revolutionising defence and other techniques in the game.
The pop icon was noticeably missing while her beaus team finally claimed victory against the Giants. Meanwhile, the Grammy winner is busy promoting her official Release party of The Life Of A Showgirl.
So far, the Bad Blood hitmaker has made sales of nearly $15 million on first day which is further projected to increase between $30 million to $50 million.
To celebrate the release of T12, Taylor announced the event on Friday which will officially commence on October 3.
