JK Rowling made people believe in her magical powers after the news that she would be bringing back the iconic band Fleetwood Mac together for her birthday made rounds.
The British-American rock band’s Stevie Knicks had announced in 2022 that the band was over for good after a key contributor Christine McVie, passed away due to a stroke.
However, multiple outlets reported that the Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone writer had met the Dreams singer several times at parties, which created the rampant rumour that the author would have the band at her luxurious party.
Rowling, who turned 60 in July is said to be hosting a celebration in November with around 200 guests at a Scottish estate with the theme of the party will be centered around James Bond.
The living legends of the band, namely Knicks, Lindsey Buckingham, John McVie and Mick Fleetwood were allegedly going to come together for the event, however a representative for the Rumours hitmakers have issued a statement to Rolling Stone.
“This is categorically false,” they said, quashing all reunion chatter surrounding the band after they permanently disbanded six years ago.
Notably, fans may hope for a reunion between the fiery blondie and Buckingham since it is more plausible in light of the duo re-releasing their first ever album Buckingham Knicks a few days prior.
Rowling is one of the richest authors ever, since she earns money not only from book sales but also from royalties and commissions coming from Harry Potter-themed parks and merchandise.
