Victoria spills secret behind marriage to David Beckham

David and Victoria Beckham, one of the world’s ultimate power couples, have recently marked a major milestone in their lives.

Despite decades of scrutiny, scandals and endless headlines, the 51-year-old fashion designer proudly marked 26 years of marriage to her husband, English football legend.

She later took to Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute, writing: “You and our four incredible children complete me. Here’s to 26 years!!”

Opening up in a candid chat with Elle, Victoria revealed the secret behind their long-lasting romance.

“So often in relationships, one will say to the other, ‘You’ve changed,’” she admitted.

“Well, of course you’ve changed! You’re a different person when you’re 20 than when you’re 50.”

For those unfamiliar, the pair first crossed paths at a Manchester United match in 1997, with David popping the question just a year later.

By 1999, they were not only married in a lavish ceremony but also parents to their first child, Brooklyn.

Romeo, Cruz and Harper later completed the Beckham brood.

Furthermore, Victoria also highlighted the unwavering support of her 50-year-old husband, especially during the early days of launching her fashion label.

“He believed in me when a lot of people didn’t. At times I was a laughingstock, but he always invested in me,” she recalled.

It’s worth noting that their marriage has weathered its toughest storms too.

Back in 2004, the English former footballer faced affair allegations that sent shockwaves through their relationship, though the couple fought hard to stay united.
