John Cena, who is known for his role in Fast X apart from wrestling career, suffered a huge blow after comeback at Wrestlepalooza 2025.

While appreciated for his strong on-screen appearances, the 48-year-old seemingly could not fight well like the old times.

The champion was heavily defeated by Brock Lesnar at a match, saddening fans with the news.

While he was showered with immense love at his stunning entrance, seeing him loose at the WWE live event broke many hearts.

One of the Instagram users wrote: “WWE hates kids,” while another admirer addressed John: “YOU DESERVE BETTER MAN.”

A third WWE fan protested on X (formerly Twitter): “WE deserve better.”

A supporter was disappointed to witness loss of the icon: “Cena gave everything and deserved a proper send-off, no a squash.”

This came after the star raised eyebrows at his entrance by choosing to walk with kids doing his signature “you can’t see me” gesture, dressed in yellow shirts.

Many netizens poked fun that Brock probably “made those little kids cry” by crushing their idols at the match.

Despite losing, John was appreciated for his long-running career filled with victories and was declared “GOAT [greatest of all time]” and “a hero” to all.
