US President Donald Trump’s second state visit to UK was grand and greeted with a royal welcome.
Trump landed in UK with his wife, First Lady Melania Trump and were greeted by the royal family at the Windsor Castle.
The American couple was honoured with a grand state banquet at the castle where the US President expressed words of affirmation for the royals.
The meal at the banquet was lavish that began with a watercress panna cotta, then a chicken ballotine and ending with a bombe glacée cardinal.
However, when it came down to the drinks, Trump did not indulge much and there was a reason why.
While there were expensive alcohols served at the banquet, the 79-year-old did not touch most because he is a well-known teetotal.
Since the death of his brother Freddie, who passed away due to a problem with alcohol, Trump has avoided alcohol entirely.
It is also being reported that Trump is not leaving UK without a future meeting planned.
Trump plans to invite King Charles III to US for a special occasion, the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
